An important environmental resource

The racetrack complex of Milan constitutes an extremely important environmental resource for the entire city of Milan. The gallop racetrack hosts a botanical garden of immense value, with 72 species, some of which are original and some of which were importated from all over the world, all of which are classified, as well as a pond that hosts various species of ducks, including migrating ducks and rare species in Italy such as plovers and gadwalls.
